OUR STORY
Hazard Beef cattle are raised near Valparaiso, Nebraska, where our family focuses on responsible farming practices and animal care.
We believe healthy cattle produce better beef.
That’s why our cattle are raised on a balanced diet that includes grains to support their health and produce the marbling and tenderness customers expect from high-quality beef.
OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
When cattle are ready for harvest, they are processed in small batches at a local USDA-inspected locker.
Each animal is dry aged for approximately 21 days, which enhances flavor and improves tenderness.
This process helps ensure every order of Hazard Beef meets our high standards for quality.
We’re Travis and Kayley Hazard, and Hazard Beef is truly a family operation.
While our kids are still a little young to run the farm themselves, they’re growing up right alongside the work that goes into raising cattle and caring for the land.
WHY WE STARTED HAZARD BEEF
“We want to make sure our friends, family, and customers have the same access to high-quality beef that our family enjoys.”
— Travis Hazard
Selling beef directly from our farm allows us to share the results of our hard work while giving customers confidence in where their food comes from.
